OTV Plast’s machinery consists of advanced CNC-controlled machining centers, e.g. a 9-axis rotary and milling center, 5-axis milling centers, large suction plane milling machines and 10 other machining centers with associated modern programming equipment. ROB-EX means that OTV Plast can provide reliable delivery times to their customers, and if it still happens that orders are delayed due to lack of material, complications with one or more machines or illness, OTV Plast can very quickly inform their customers about the situation. This gives customers a chance to take into account the delay in their production. And it is vital for customers that OTV Plast as a subcontractor can provide accurate information about the delivery situation.
For example, if OTV Plast cannot deliver some wear rails, gears or bushings to a machine on time, then it can lead to delays in their customer’s deliveries for projects worth millions of kroner.

All orders were entered into their order processing system, but it was difficult to see the total load of production capacity. The result was exceeding promised delivery dates by too many orders. The production manager was previously the only one who in far too many cases could answer when a given order could be delivered. If one of OTV Plast’s customers called to get a status on their orders, only the production manager could give an answer. Therefore, ROB-EX has also greatly relieved the production manager.
